Legend has it that the Sirens were either hideous or beautiful (because women can strictly be one or the other) creatures that distracted sailors with their song, causing them to crash their ships and perish. Our take? Women were blamed for crashing ships they weren't even on, and it still happens to this day. Our myth celebrates women having a voice; Sirens cannot be silenced.
